Winter and Rub: A Play

RWR: "Hello, Winter."

W: "Hello, Rub Wrongways Records."

RWR: "Happy birthday."

W: "Thanks. Happy anniversary."

RWR: "Thanks. How old are you now?"

W: "Older than the mountains, my friend, older than the mountains."

RWR: "Wow. I'm only five."

Tonight's the night, folks. Come on over to the Elevens in Northampton at 9:00 PM and catch showcase performances by Anthony Westcott, Bourgeois Heroes, Sitting Next To Brian, The Campbell Apartment, The Fawns, School for the Dead, and The Aloha Steamtrain.

It's a CD Release Party, An Anniversary Party, A The-Days-Are-Only-Gonna-Get-Longer-From-Now-On Party, and a Benefit for Big Brothers Big Sisters. There's a five dollar donation requested at the door and you have to be twenty one or older to get in.

I hope you all can make it. There will be balloons.

If there were a song about the exact moment in time when I saw "Omnivore" live, it would include the word "squee."

Thanks for putting together a brilliant show. The longest night of the year was over all too quickly.

And hey, what color were those balloons again?
