You now have just Two Days to prepare your costume for Halloween Weekend. Although Halloween doesn't really happen until next Wednesday, this weekend is when a lot of the Halloween events go down. Yesterday Scott Hall from Drunk Stuntmen stopped by to drop off a mix of one of the Mike Flood songs that Brian and I played on so many years ago. He also asked if he could borrow one of my synthesizers and I learned a delightful secret. Don't tell anybody but Drunk Stuntmen are planning on playing Michael Jackson's "Thriller" on Saturday night at their big Fifteenth Anniversary Young At Heart Chorus DVD Release Halloween Show.
Those of you who have attended Transperformances in the past know how wonderful the Stuntmen are at giving cover versions their all. I wonder if they will have a Vincent Price look-a-like for the intro. I wish I could go. I went to their Halloween show last time they did it at the Iron Horse, in fact I went to both shows that night, and I had a great time. I actually tried to have our show on Friday night this year, so I could do both things but The Elevens was already booked for that night.
With Our Show, the Drunk Stuntmen Show and the Primate Fiasco Circus at Pearl Street, this town is going to be hopping on Saturday. Awesome.
