I woke up from a dream that the Fed Ex guy was at the door. He had a fluffy white kitten that I had to sign for. "it's from Iggy Pop", he said. "Its name is King Quintin".
Eww, I thought closing the door. I don't like long haired or all-white cats. And we don't need another cat. Still, it's from Iggy Pop....

The FedEx guy is a metaphor for any expected delivery or impending arrival. As is the cat, a pleasurable animal for you, despite the hair situation, which could be a suspected flaw in what you expect to be receiving. Could be that your eagerly awaited album is nagging at your unconscious? Perhaps there's something about it you are still unsure of? Something that wasn't caught in the mixing and mastering before sending it off for duplication? Then again, Iggy Pop is a symbol of approval; a rock icon giving you the thumbs up. Despite your apprehension, warts and all the disc will be super. Of course Iggy might just mean that you are out of peanut butter.
