sans sex

We just brought home Juniper and Niko from their spay/neutering procedures.
They're doing fine--though Juniper's tummy is bald and Frankenstein-ish. She's not enjoying the stitches.
Niko is in sort of denial. He starts to direct his attention to the lack-of....but then does something else. He's too wasted for his mellow to be harshed right now.

According to the invoice, they gave them Valium and Ketamine (aka Special K). So, there's a rave going on inside those little kitty brains right now. I guess that's why Niko's been all "you guys are so BEAUTIFUL. I love you, I MEAN it. I feel so GOOOD".
Then just now I caught him downloading the Orb and Massive Attack from iTunes. He owes me $12.98

Juniper went through a little more, being the girl, but she's doing fine too. She's transfixed with a feather toy we got her as a gift.

But they're getting along, which was the biggest worry (unfamiliar scents, etc).
So yeah. That's all. Cats.
