Homecoming

I had a surprise visit from Tony on Friday. He had a little time to kill in Northampton and crept up to the Rub Wrongways Treehouse. We caught up a bit and then I played almost all of the new Fawns album for him. It was good to get a new set of ears on the mixes. For the most part, he seemed to really enjoy it and Tony's not one to hold back his comments, so that's good.

He's still not positive on whether or not he will be able to play on November 5th when we are back in the International Pop Overthrow at the Paradise Lounge in Boston. We'll keep you updated.

Last night at 12:30 I went to pick up Brian at the Springfiled Peter Pan Bus Station. He was just getting back from his west coast tour with Don Lennon. The ride to Springfield was spooky and foggy, and I was sure that I was going to see one of the all-white bigfoot creatures that live in the caves along the Connecticut River, but I didn't. They must have been hiding.

I believe that Ken also returned from his tour abroad with mark Mulcahy. Everyone is coming home. Welcome home, everybody.

Nice segue: "all-white bigfoot creature"..."I believe KEN also returned"...

The crucial part that you left out, Henning, was that I was getting paid to sit in a treehouse listening to music.

(I was enlisted to bring a student from our campus to a meeting with a woman she works with in Hatfield. That's almost as sweet as last weekend when I was paid to bring kids to the science museum in Boston, had my ticket paid for and some Indian food, too. We won't get into the details of how I broke the lights on one of the school vans or how I nearly forgot to distribute meds at dinnertime, though.
Just sign me up for one of those trips to Fenway in the springtime!)
