BRIAN'S DRUMSET FOR SALE! GROOVY MID-60'S ROGERS "HOLIDAY" KIT
It's a Holiday chapagne sparkle, identical to the one on this page:
http://www.vintagedrum.com/item/Rogers-1960s-VI-2881
BUT here's how MINE differs (and why mine is HALF the price):
The outside bass drum rim is from a different kit. The inside one is original.
All other rims are original.
The bottom rim for the floor tom is missing.
There is a bass drum cymbal mount (not shown in this guy's picture).
I'm not selling the snare. It's too good a friend.
The rack tom holder is missing a big wing nut type thing that tightens it to the kick drum and adjusts the height. But it works fine without it, actually. The force of gravity holds it in so it's been fine-- I've been trying to track one down, but the one I saw was (I thought) overpriced. Maybe I was wrong.
I bought this set in 1989 (it was a birthday gift, actually), didn't use it at all from 92-99.
From 2001-the present it's played over 100 gigs and been on 5 records.
It can be yours for $850 or best offer. Interested?
Maybe Ning can post a few pictures of me playing it.
(note to Ning--the SNTB show has some good views of it)
