Reverse Frogger

Played a game of reverse frogger the other night.  We were driving through some small roads in Vermont.  The evening had been rainy but it had stopped.  I guess the roads must have been warm and inviting for the frogs.  There were dozens and dozens of them sitting there in our headlights or hopping around every corner.  At one point I stopped entirely and had to slowly swerve through a large group of them.  As we drove, my eyes became intensely fixed on the road ahead.  I felt like I had telephoto vision.  When frogs would appear before us, I swear I could see the looks on their faces with their big bugged-out eyes trying to make sense of the hugeness of the car.

It was a slow ride, not quiet white-knuckled, but certainly sadly cute.
