Hello It's September 12, 2008.

The Fawns had a nice show last night at the Sierra Grille here in Northampton, MA. We played (and ate dinner) with Levelette and This Frontier Needs Heroes. The room was full of positive vibes even when somebody pulled the fire alarm at the end of the night.

Tomorrow School for the Dead is trekking out to the middle of The Berkshires to play at a wedding. The folks who hired us found us on MySpace. Magic.

Next week on Thursday night we're having our first Rub Wrongways Records caravan Of Stars show. It'll be up in Turner's Falls, MA at The Rendezvous. Performing will be School for the Dead, The Fawns, Sitting Next To Brian, and Jason Bourgeois. And perhaps others.

Then look out, the week after is the New Northampton Pop Music Festival (or so I just dubbed it.) On Thursday night it's the Maggies Reunion at The Sierra Grille with the Mitchells. Then on Friday it's our HUGE CD RELEASE PARTY with guests, Los Hijos Unicos. Then on Saturday it's our friends Space Captain's CD Release Show with Rabbit Rabbit and our very own Brian playing solo. Phew. Best weekend ever.

Also, more to come, but start picking out your Halloween Costume now because you've got somewhere to be and you don't wanna have not a stitch to wear.
