I realize I haven't mentioned our weekly bike ride to the movies for a bit. We've been doing well with the bike riding. We had to miss one weekend because Lesa had to work. The next weekend we rode to the theater but we didn't see a movie for lack of time. This past weekend we did ride to the mall but we didn't see a movie because we had seen Wall-E the night before.
We went to see Wall-E with none other than Jason Bourgeois. It was brilliant. I definitely recommend it. I'm not going to say anymore about it until you see it. I like to go into movies knowing as little as possible about them.
We also rode our bikes last night up to Florence. The bike path is such a great thing. It takes almost no effort to glide from our garage to the tree lined trail. Once on the path you are surrounded by birds and squirrels and plants. You pass a few pedestrians here and there and you encounter other cyclists. Sometimes they say "hi". Sometimes they don't.
The ride to Florence is one long, slight, incline. On the ride home you almost don't have to ever pedal at all. Maybe you want to go to Florence to get an ice cream cone at that little stand next to the Miss Florence Diner. Maybe you went to Cooper's Corner looking for something to grill and you didn't find it so you then went back to Stop and Shop and you couldn’t decide on anything there so you decided to call Luna pizza and get delivery so that it would be there by the time you got home but there was no answer there so you instead decide to walk into town and sit outside on the brewery deck and get a nice leisurely dinner but maybe you would find out that you have to wait for a table for a half an hour once you get there so you decide instead to go to packards.
Maybe.
