Henning, feel free to bump this post down a spot in order to advertise our show more effectively. Besides, I have an inkling only Brian will care about this one.
Another fake album, this is a double-LP compilation of songs the four members of The Monkees composed themselves. On each of the four sides, each member gets at least one composition, with Mike usually notching two. To signify the spots where the record should be flipped over, I included the 6-second track known as "Gravy." Delicious.
Side One:
Sunny Girlfriend
Little Girl
Dream World
Tear The Top Right Off My Head
Papa Gene's Blues
Auntie's Municipal Court
{Gravy}
Side Two:
You And I
She'll Be There
You Told Me
Do I Have To Do This All Over Again?
My Share Of The Sidewalk
For Pete's Sake
{Gravy}
Side Three:
Mary, Mary
Good Clean Fun
Party
Lady's Baby
Don't Call On Me
Mommy And Daddy
{Gravy}
Side Four:
Carlisle Wheeling
The Girl I Knew Somewhere
Wargames
Circle Sky
Randy Scouse Git
Riu Chiu

Doncha know, nerd boy, that I did a similar thing a few years ago (it was a cassette, to give you an idea) which was more the original idea for the Monkees Present album--i.e. one side each devoted to each of the Monkees songwriting.
Obviously, Nesmith was the hardest to narrow down, so I made it a Nez in Nashville e.p.
Micky's was most interesting, with Rosmarie, Bye Baby Bye, Shorty Blackwell, Mommy+Daddy, Little Girl and Just a Game making for good listening.
Tork, well you have to include Seeger's Theme and Merry Go Round and Come On In--it's ok.
And Davy never wrote a song on his own, but there are some decent ones he co-wrote, my fave being "French Song".
I'd like to live in that solo.
Nerd Boy 2.
