This past weekend, I played in two sold-out shows. I know that sounds impressive, but they weren't MY shows. In one I was a member of the band. In the other, I was just a guest musician for one song.
On Friday, The Rosenbach Company played at the New York Public Library. Ken had to fill in for Brian who is currently in Amsterdam, he did an amazing job. It was a cool surreal experience playing a show about book collectors in the midst of one of the world's greatest book collections. The room was beautiful with its glass domed ceiling and the catered food was delish.
On Saturday, I was honored to join the Winterpills on a song. They played at Pearl Street opening up for our buddies Fountains of Wayne. I played the glocky-chimes. The place was packed and the audience adored the Winterpills. It was a wonderful show all around, I love to see the throngs singing along with all those Fountains sing-alongs.
