slushy day question

Often times, an singer/songwriting artist will put out an album of all covers. Sometimes it's a stalling tactic (label needs product, artist doesn't have new songs) or sometimes it's a labour of love.

My question:

if you were to do an album of 10 cover songs, what would they be?

I've been mulling this over and have some. here's side 1:

Album Cover Album Cover Album--by sitting next to brian

go out and get 'em boy--the wedding present
nevada fighter--michel nesmith
this man he weeps tonight--the kinks
people--bryan maclean
have you never been mellow--olivia newton john
six o clock--the lovin spoonful

I'm only doing an EP and I'm dedicating it to "Olivia."

"For My Feline Fatale"

1. Calico Girlfriend (duet w/ Samara Loewenstein)

2. Chester- The Essex Green (w/ School for the Dead)

3. Phenomenal Cat- The Kinks (w/Humbert)

4. Meow Mix theme song jam (w/ Sonic Youth)

Now that's a vanity project.
