A Tale
A fawn was walking through a meadow when she encountered a lion. "Aloha", he said, "my name is Pedro Greenberg. Say, would you like a bite of my ribbon candy?"
"What do I look like, some pollyanna? What makes you think that I, a defenseless fawn, would accept candy from a big tough lion? Anyway, I'm late for school. If I take your candy, I'm good as dead."
"Oh, chill, we're all mammals here", said Pedro. "Don't be such a sourpuss. If you change your mind, I'll be across the pond sitting next to my spouse Brian".
The End (cue music)
When I met this dude he was wearing the only Go 2 t shirt I've ever seen. He also had cds by every good band I could think of. 13 years, 12 bands and 500 shows later, a happy birthday to half man, half robot....

When I first started taking guitar lessons years ago, my teacher, Jim Armenti, told me to try to find folks to come over and play music with me. At the time, I knew pretty much every musician in town. And I asked pretty much every musician. The all said no. Until this one fella I saw at a Ray Mason show, pad in hand. I asked. He said yes.
He came over and we tried to find songs we knew in common. 'Proud Mary' was about all we could do... But still, he played with me, he recorded my very awkward first songs (and even did a 'country' solo on my nashville hit!). And years later, when my dream came true, he was there to document it!
Happiest of birthdays to a swell and very talented guy!
Love,
Ina
Okay, I think I'm catching on. There's more than one of them. I'm guessing there are three in a row: Seth Tripp, Kevin O'Rourke and Ken Maiuri.
But whoever the real birthdays are, three cheers to all.
