So when the comment screen deleted my response, I took this route instead...

Although obviously inspired by the Borat character, I witnessed one of the students from our school doling out high fives to random strangers in the airport when I was picking him up at the airport last week for return to boarding school. Same idea- people are somewhat bemused but all of them seemed to have no problem smacking the crazy white boy's hand while waiting for their luggage to come bobbling down the carousel slide.

And to piggyback on Brian's entry... A few weeks ago some busybody in a coffee shop, referring to visibly preggers Shelly's tan beverage, asked, "Should you be drinking that?" While it's true that caffeine is not a good idea when one is pregnant (although once in a while is probably not a big deal), the fact of the matter is, Shelly was purchasing a decaf. Nonetheless, rather than patiently defend herself to the woman that this was the case, my wife the salty improv comedienne impishly replied, "The caffeine really helps for these hangovers!"
