Behold, a Perfect Cat

With all due respect to every cat I've owned, I belive that I've stumbled upon the most perfect one I've ever known.
First off, after the horiffic demise of Marianne, I doubted I'd want a new cat for another year. Thus, I took a new apartment that didn't exactly allow pets. But soon enough I really started missing the happiness of coming home to a cat. So I started looking online. Then had to beg forgiveness of Marianne's spirit. Then had to twist the arm of my landlord. And voila!
At Thomas O'Connor shelter in Springfield, we found her. It's a nice shelter that allows visitors to spend time with whoever they choose in a Meeting Room. First cat...nah. Cute, but maybe a little dim. Second one, still cuter, but tried to scratch out Marisa's eyes(those fiesty Tortoise Shell Calicos--killer instincts). Then perusing the cages, I spotted a petite black and white female, watching us go by with the biggest, greenest eyes. Her name was Molly (which we've changed because, hey. Anyway, I once had a cat named Molly).
We brought her in to the Meeting Room and she was nothing but the cutest thing in the world. Purring, just wanting to be pet and held..
We brought her home (to my place) yesterday and it's been nothing but awesome. Just call her once and she's right there wanting to be held and pet and happily so.
She's 2 years old but looks younger than that.
Pretty sure her name is now Mabel.

Wonderful news! She's gorgeous. Sarah and I are thrilled to hear you have a new cat. We adopted a fifth cat a few weeks ago. A black & white pink-nosed six-month-old we've named Reginald. He's fitting right in with the other four and walked right into our hearts the minute we saw him. Purrrrrrrrrrrr.
