Hmmm.. I was just reading Kevin O'Hare's review of the World Party show in the Republican. It's a good review. However, in the last sentence, he mentions my opening performance. This is what it says:
"The evening opened with a brief but forgettable performance by School for the Dead guitarist Henning Ohlenbusch."
Oh well.

If he meant "forgettable" wouldn't he have said "long but forgettable"? Maybe he really meant "unforgettable".....
oh man, that's unfair. that guys seems to have a real problem with northampton music or something.
henning: I went looking for the review so I could read that sentence in context but didn't find it (yet). If he had been anticipating a great World Party show and they lived up to his expectations, I could see him overlooking the opening act. But including that comment rather than just *forgetting* about you does seem like he has an agenda. If it's any consolation, I've never heard of World Party, but I'll probably never forget Henning Ohlenbusch.
Logically speaking, if he remembered your performance well enough to mention it, it was not forgettable.
Writing about Henning Ohlenbusch is like sculpting about Charles Dickens.
