
I didn't know it was the same bird that does the little "chickadee-dee-dee-dee-dee" call. I learned a while back from Johnny Memphis on WRSI that the more "dees" in THAT call, the more danger the bird feels it is in.
But the song that I was referring to as the 70's Springtime Bird Song is sometimes described as "phee-bee". It sounds like this: Listen
That's the one, right Tony? Chickadee...isn't that the state bird? yes it is. I am so sure that I was taught that in the third grade that I am not even going to look it up. State bird...what does that even mean?

And look, Tony, his name is Tony, too. Tony, Tony, Tony.
