Local Ice Cream Lovers Rejoice

Cold Stone Creamery has gone out of business on Main Street in Northampton. It's sad to see a business fail but in this case not so sad. We have Herrell's, we don't need no stinking underpaid teenagers singing for their tips. We just want some good ice-cream.

When Cold Stone came to town, people were worried that they might put Herrell's out of business, after all, they certainly have deep pockets for promotion. In the end, though, the little guy won out. Three cheers for the little guy.
