Because when I enter "Velvet Underground" it plays Sebadoh (Soul and Fire), Steve Miller Band (Jet Airliner) and 13th Floor Elevators (Splash 1) back to back to back.

Brian, I love it too. The only disappointment so far is that, after putting in Townes van Zandt, after 18 songs, there was no chick. So I added Lucinda, Emmy Lou, and Gillian. And it still took 'til #26 to play a chick, Gillian. And I stopped after 45 songs and they still hadn't played Lucinda or Emmy Lou. Don't get me wrong, I know there are way more men than women out there on disc. And I even like many more men artists than women artists, but still... This is a minor complaint, though, and I probably only notice 'cause I'm a chick.
What I really love is hearing all sorts of people I've never heard of--it's what I need right now: to expand my musical horizons.
