The Your Own Rockumentary, or YOR, as it was never called, seems to be existing in an extended hibernation. Perhaps with the new Comments ability in the official Rockumentary, there is no longer a need for YOR? What do y'all think? Would dismantling it free up bandwidth (no pun intended, or perhaps, comprehended) so that we could add some additional MP3s to the site? Jus' musin'...

I think YOR is DOA. I agree with The Duke of Westcott that it seems redundant now that TLR has a comments section. The only difference is that on YOR one could start a new idea not related to a post. Of course one could still, non-seqitor-wise, do that in a comment, but it seems less likely.
My post was the last post (or at least the last post that wasn't a deleted bit of spam from a Russian woman in London or somewhere fishing for potential husbands). Way back in June. I guess I killed it. Sorry, everyone.
Funny, Tony, I have been mulling this over, too. Especially yesterday about an hour before your post. I had the same thoughts as OrkyD. The function of YOR could be for folks to start there own conversation threads.
But, nobody seems to be doing. That said, it doesn't take up much space on the server - so it can't really hurt to have it there. Unless, its emptiness gives the sensation that we have no activity here. Which makes us look bad.
Hmmm.
