1) I'll write less once I'm reunited with my fiance. Blogging is a symptom of loneliness.
2) Neil Diamond's girlfriend is my age, and he's been with her for 9 years. Which means she was....6 when they hooked up. Arrest that man!
3) Wanna hear something VERY COOL?? It's rearrangening my auditory sensibilities as I write this.
About 2 months ago, Don Lennon and I recorded a show for Brown University's student run station, WBSR 88.1 (as opposed to WBUR which is more commercial, but still Brown)
It's called "Phoning It In". Basically, the DJ calls, the indie bands hold a phone up to their rehearsal room and play a gig. Then later on it's broadcast and archived on the site.
We recorded it at Wrongways Wrehearsal Space, and I gotta say, I wasn't expecting much
but a) we played well and b) the mix is perfect. The drums (played with bundlesticks) over the phone, then processed to MP3 quality and coming out of good computer speakers sound just like a 1985 drum machine. It's awesome.
