Last night, despite being very tired, I made some gig diaries for some past shows. I still have a few more to do to get up-to-date. I'm sorry to say that the last gig diary that I had done was from May! Man, what happened? Oh yeah, the world's hottest summer beat me into the ground.
While going into a total computer-trance and updating these diaries I listened to "A Cartoon, A Joke" by Sitting Next To Brian and "I Count None But Sunny Hours" by Dennis Crommett. Awesome. During the process, I learned with horror that the last School for the Dead band show was in June! Almost half a year ago! I'm sorry, everyone. I'm sorry, me.
Earlier last night, Tony stopped by for a quick run-through of our set for our upcoming Boston gig (Paradise Lounge - Next Wednesday). It was just the two of us, since he's not sure he will be able to make time for a full band practice. We blasted through the songs as though we had been rehearsing weekly for the last six months. Nice job, Tony. It was a delight.
