The New You on Rhapsody

I have a subscription to Rhapsody, an online service in which I can stream music from a library of well over a million songs, listen to online radio stations, and burm mp3s. It's great. I enjoy it. Ever since "The New You" came out, I've been trying to get it into the Rhapsody Library. Finally, with the help of CDBaby, it is there.

Yee.

It's interesting to see how they categorize us. Here is a list of what they consider similar albums: "Sound Go Round" by Dressy Bessy, "Dear Catastrophe Waitress" by Belle And Sebastian, "Hold On" by Billy Dechand, "Sacred Touch" by Liquorice Sea, and "Plastique Nouveau" by Bis. I don't know what kind of formula they use to determine that stuff, but I do know that I will now have to go and listen to those records to try to make sense of it.

In the meantime, if you have Rhapsody, why not stream The New You a couple times, I believe we are supposed to get some miniscule amount of money for each stream. I'm very curious to see how that works out. (There is a 14-Day Free Trial over on their website.)

UPDATE: I've since realized that the list of "similar albums" is constantly changing. This time they have Youth Group, Bikeride, and Of Montreal albums listed. Interesting, I was just listening to Of Montreal. Rhapsody is reading my mind.
