THIS SATURDAY BIG HURRICANE RELIEF BENEFIT

The place to be is The Elevens, in Northampton, MA, this Saturday for a big multi-performer fund raiser.

For Immediate Release
When - Saturday September 10, 2005 7PM to 2AM
Where - Tully O'Reilly's, and the Elevens 140 Pleasant St. Northampton, Mass. 01060 (413-584-4100)
What - A benefit fundraiser for the Red Cross Hurricane Relief Fund

Details - We will be asking a $5 Donation on Tully's side, and a $10 donation on the Elevens side. All door proceeds will be given to the Red Cross. In addition, a portion of the bar sales will be donated to the Red Cross. Also, many artists will be selling CDs, and donating all of the sales to the Red Cross. There will be live music and DJs on the Tully's side, and live music on the Elevens side, throughout the evening. Food will be provided to the performers.

Current Schedule:

The Elevens
The legendary Aloha Steamtrain will reunite for this benefit to finish off the evening. They will be joined by members of Drunk Stuntmen to perform Randy Newman's "Louisiana" to conclude the show. Angry Johnny and the Killbillies will also perform late. Other oustanding acts have volunteered, schedule to be determined over next 24 hours.

7-10PM- Acoustic performances by Matthew Hebert (Ware River Club), Dave Houghton (Fancy Trash), Phillip Price (Winterpills), Henning Ohlenbusch
(School For the Dead) and Dennis Crommet (Spanish For Hitchiking) will warm up the evening.

10:30-1:30PM Several bands including Angry Johnny and the Killbillies, the Aloha Steamtrain and the Stunt/train ensemble.

Tully O'Reilly's
7-10PM- George Lenker, Rick Murnane (Group DeVille), the Jen Tobey Band, and Pride Falls (all acoustic)

10PM- 2AM DJ Frankie- contemporary hip hop and other popular music

Hmmm...maybe some of my friends waiting to play over on the Elevens side will pop into the Tully's side to catch part of my set. I wish I could stay the whole night, but I can't. I've got to leave shortly after I play, but am hoping to stay at least through Henning's set. See you there.
