"THOSE Kind of Books"

Since people were helpful when I was asking about boxes, maybe someone here has a recommendation for a used bookstore that might be interested in picking up a box of paperbacks for store credit? One usually receives more value if not looking for cash and there are always books we could find that we'd like. But I'm finding it difficult to find a store that might want the pile of Dean Koontz books Shelly devoured back in high school. There are other genres in the mix but she has a lot of books by him and authors like him. I've made a few calls and all stores so far aren't interested in them. Deliciously, the woman at one place scoffed, "We're not interested in THOSE kind of books." Okay, Miss Thang, sorry to offend you with the stink of literature so beneath you. And while you're dishing out the scorn, you might want to choose either "that kind of books" or "those kinds of books." Improper possessive pronoun usage takes away from the full effect of haughty uber-literate contempt in your tone.

At any rate, it may just be we take our chances with the tag sale in September and then donate whatever doesn't move but if we could snag a handful of Agatha Christies or something by trading in the Koontzes and Sauls, that'd be delightful.
