The Living Rockumentary

There are a lot of posts on Masslive's Soundboard about this year's Transperformance at Look Park, which has the theme of NYC- based acts. Unfortunately, it looks like SFTD won't be taking part this year. I thought we did quite well last year as The Monkees (and the year before as Tom Petty) and even if someone else laid claim to The Lovin' Spoonful (although we'd be perfect- Henning already has glasses, an autoharp and a striped shirt for each one of us in the band), I'm sure there are other groups we could've pulled off. My mates in SFTD will be part of the show as The Fawns taking on Blondie and so I'm happy for them but tremendously bummed I can't play this year, since I don't play with any other groups nor am I a valuable local hired gun sideman like Ken or Brian. Ah, well.
