Backatcha, Bri
Dear, how did you know? I did have that dream, only I discovered an underground cavern (no lie) where shelves and shelves of vinyl records that were all bootlegs that nobody knew existed or had been lost or pureposely hidden. It's so sad when you wake up from one of those dreams to find the imaginary booty vanish and then comes the shame of being so geeky. Anyway, during that dream, I remember distinctly a Monkees album that was the (imaginary) full double-album version of PACAJ (Pisces, Aquarius, Capricorn & Jones). It was like The Monkees' White Album and featured more Nesmith country-rock gems and psychedelic Moog-y Dolenz masterpieces and swanky, creamy Jonesy (that's Davy, not Tom) singalongs like "Hard To Believe." A climate-controlled, sterilized underground lair library of my favorite artists and all these unheard recordings by them. Poof- gone.
