Today, I saw the sunlight hit Northampton from the other side. Yep, I was up early in order to go down to the WRSI studios and talk a bit with Kelsey Flynn on her Morning Show.

Just moments before making the wrong turn, I remembered that WRSI had moved. I'd been in their new digs once before many year sago when they belonged to a different station, a station overrun with lasers.

I rang the bell in the empty early morning parking lot and Kelsey came smiling down the hallway to let me in. I like radio studios, there's something warm and cozy about them, recording studios are like that too. It's all the carpeting and the low lights and lack of echoes. Good stuff. I feel relaxed there.

Next, thing you know, the On Air sign lights up and Kelsey and I are talking. Not about much really. A few questions about my show with Evan Dando, some talk about the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and how I don't care much about it, and a little bit about Marty Helly's Toys for Tots benefit on Monday, in which I am playing (as is Lesa).

That was about it. We also discussed doing some other stuff there in the future, which I am going to have to carefully think through before my usual response of just saying "sure, yeah." Anyway, I'll fill you all in as things unfold.

Good morning.
