So, how about that Figments show? It seemed to serve as a great big holiday party. Or, kind of like how I described the final Steamtrain show, it's like those scenes in the Simpsons where all the characters are in the background. You see everyone you know and love in a rare moment all together.
Yes, you are all just characters in my own personal cartoon.
I had become accustomed to referring to the Figments in the past tense, so all this was very nice for all of us. It was December 1995 that I went to School St, Noho for the first time to play with those guys. I knew none of them. My girlfriend at the time worked with one of them. Another was a TA in the English Department at UMass, so I vaguely knew him.
Nine years. NOTHING in my life (so far) has lasted that long.
The WW2 show had me smiling the whole time. I hadn't really been able to rock out in a while. I think we all played with a renewed intensity.
Now we just have to finish the album we started 3 years ago.

If any of you are going to be in NYC January 7, the Figments and Lo Fine will be at the Living Room, Ludlow St.
Big and new and improved.
