The first time I heard the first line of that first Norah Jones song, I knew why it was going to be loved by 25 to 50 year olds across the country.

It feels like it's coming straight out of a Charlie Brown Christmas. The stirring soup brushes and the laid back feel and then BAM! the actual melody of the beginning of "Christmas Time is Here Again" with similar harmonies behind it.

With all the wonderful feelings that the Vince Guaraldi soundtrack-to-our-past instills in us, a song that subconciously reminds us of it can only be a huge hit.

Try listening to the Norah Jones song while staring out the window at the falling snow and you'll see what I mean.

I'm not saying it's a rip-off, but I am saying if you are thinking of listening to Norah, maybe cut out the middle man, and listen to Vince instead.

Or not, either way, it's warmer in here than it is out there.
