Brian, apparently the Cavedogs released two records on Capitol, though I've only seen the one you mentioned. Ex-Cavedog Brian Stevens also went on to work with Aimee Mann, whose touring band included Dave Gregory. See, everything here relates back to XTC.
When the Maggies recorded at Q Division, circa '97, there was a big Cavedogs' framed poster on the wall. But that didn't impress me as much as Aimmee Mann's bass (which I used on one song) and all the unfinished Letters To Cleo recordings lying around that I didn't steal (but wanted to). More recently, Q Division recorded much of Fountains Of Wayne's "Welcome Interstate Managers". See, everything here relates back to Fountains Of Wayne.
