The following is an exerpt from the Space's wonderfully written blog. The Space is a great venue in Hamden, CT.

"February 26, 2004:

The drummer of School For The Dead gave me his solo CD last Friday, taking off shortly after their set for the long drive home. Nearly all the members of School For The Dead are in a thousand other bands up in the Northampton music scene. This utterly fascinates me, as it adds a ton of subtext - and a teensy touch of myth - to what is otherwise a power pop group that sounds more than a little like They Might Be Giants. Thing is, all these ancillary (all who could probably argue that they are the core group and the rest are the orbiters) bands are just as good and solid as School For The Dead are. Spanish For Hitchiking, The Fawns, Lo Fine...not many musicians have such a staggering number of quality outlets for their music. I can easily get lost in the web they weave.

But anyway, the drummer's solo CD. It's under the name of Sitting Next To Brian, is called A Cartoon, A Joke, and it is utter pop crack. I haven't stopped listening to it since I got it."

There are also pictures from the Space's Punk Hockey Day show that we played here. Tony is glowing blue.
