That's a very informative post from Andrea, and I'd forgotten about Meg Toohey, who I very much enjoyed seeing perform last year. I'm excited to hear Jules Verdone is working on new material. She was in the Q Division stable of artists in the mid-'90s (which the Maggies were part of, sort of) who could do no wrong. That reminds me: I forgot to include Merrie Amsterberg, whose debut continues to be an all-time fave. Other Boston female artists or band members I forgot the first time around: Aimmee Mann (duh), Tracy Bonham, Mary Lou Lord, Scarce and Papas Fritas.
Ok, now Andrea is going to punch me for sure when we make the trip to Boston.
