The Thorns (I corrected my spelling from the earlier post) are Matthew Sweet, Shawn Mullins and Pete Droge. Their record from last year is full of nice melodies and lush harmonies, and some really good songwriting. I prefer Sweet solo, but the Thorns are a very enjoyable listen.
