Max, when do you need your guitar back? I have tomorrow off (Wednesday) Can I keep it 'till then, so I can maybe do a bit of recording?

I just heard a brand new Ringo Starr song, written by Ringo, all about George. It's, um, from the heart (read: hoky). Kind of like "Early 1970" from the Ringo album (1973). It's sad because it's from Ringo to George. But as a song.....Then you get an uninspired wanky Clapton guitar solo in the middle (though whoever's doing the Harri-slide work throughout the song does it great).

Did anyone see the Simon+Garfunkel reunion at the Grammys? I heard a minute of it, oddly enough, during the news on Howard Stern. They were all actually digging the song, saying what a great song it is. But then they began making up fake lyrics, like "Hello Garfunkel my old friend, you're mooching off my talent again, after all these years can't you write your own songs..." etc.

I consider going to the hot tubs a nude war protest.

Lastly, I didn't mention, holy wow. Gideon Freudmann came over to Wrongways and an hour later, the final song on my album had the loveliest, saddest cello you ever heard.
