Is it me, or is The Velvet Underground live 1969 2-disc set the best live thing ever? Is it just because I can more easily relate to playing to 30 people (like this whole album) than 30,000? And how, in 1969. no other band sounded like this, but decades later, every "cool" band did/does?
Sorry to bring up such a cliche point. But putting on disc one last night and disc two tonight brought me so back to life after tiring days. Life affirming.
