Have you seen the new gig poster? It's on the home page. Or just click here if'n you want: Poster.

Soon we will have reached the 10,000th visit to our site. I'm not sure if I will be able to figure out who the 10,000 visitor is. If anybody is here when the counter says 10,000 then, it's you and you win the prize! Just let me know. Let me know.

Last night the famous Bruce Tull (Scud Mountain Boys, Lo Fine, Haunt) came over to Rub Wrongways and played some pedal steel for the Fawns and one of Brian's songs. It was pretty fun. The pedal steel is so instantly beautiful it'll make your head cramp.

Kahoots is playing tonight at Harry's. I'm going.

Once again it kind of feels like spring is on it's way. Even though it's 32 degrees, it feels warmer and kinder. How hard is it to imagine the warm weather? Bezo and I were walking home from Packards last night freezing and listing off all the things to look forward to as time progresses. Snow melting, leaves on the trees, grass, flowers, birds chirping, no jackets, crickets and peepers through screen windows, sitting on the porch, walking and being able to look up, driving with the windows down...it just doesn't seem possible, we are about to be presented with a wonderful world.

At the same time, it's a lot easier to get recording done when it is not too hot or too nice outside, so we've got to jump on that as soon as we can. I like Tony's idea of making a new album of all new songs, not including the Chain CD ones. Why not?
