Good personal news- I sneezed three times yesterday with only the slightest twinge of pain in my left lung. The healing of that muscle was so gradual and beset by setbacks due to unavoidable sneezes over these last few months (yeah, months) that full recovery from the lung infection I inherited circa Thanksgiving seemed elusive. Now if this cold weather and precipitation would let up, I could get some relief in my formerly busted digit. (For those that don't know, I badly broke my left ring finger in the summer of 2001 and the bone fused back together well but not perfectly. I'm no surgeon or anything but there has been a decrease in dexterity regarding things like typing and especially guitar playing that I'll never fully regain. It's not a big deal- I'm no Fyodor Dostoevsky or Yngwie Malmsteen either. However, the cold weather and especially wet cold weather does make the finger ache when I'm out in the cold and I can't play guitar for long periods of time without it whining at me. AND, to the chagrin of me woife, I do remove my wedding ring when I play guitar to free up that finger more as well.)
