Brian, I'm guessing the memento you brought back from the Berkshires is a bootleg cd of that James Taylor/Sonic Youth collaboration I've heard so much about. Right? The concert from japan with Melt Banana guesting. I've heard they do a great version of "How Sweet It Is" at breakneck speed.
But if it's a memento that I am the one most-likely to appreciate, it's gotta be clothing-related. Red leather pants?
Right now Henning is: sleeping under one sheet with a/c on; on a rollercoaster, screaming; eating an orange off a tree. Bastard.
