| I just got back from a walk in the blizzard. In my big giant coat, I headed out into Northampton wearing headphones and listening to Kate Bush on my new cd player. First stop, DB Mart, where the guy told me that in Oregon they have white-outs all the time but not as long as this one. I got some snacks and headed to Dun Kind O' Nuts. I didn't particularly think they would be open, but just in case, the lure of a hot toasted bagel was pushing me ahead. I saw a bunch of people out walking, at least I think they were people, it was hard to see with all the snow on my glasses. I was looking down most of the way there anyway.
I saw many cars gliding around, sideways, forwards, backwards, otherwise the roads were shared by police cars and snow plows. Flashing lights everywhere you looked.
Drunken Grownups was closed so I took a picture of it. I would have taken a lot more pictures in general but it was impossible to keep the camera dry, and I couldn't wear gloves while shooting so, I took only about 20. Here are four:
