I felt a punch in the stomach reading the Salon headline about Joe Strummer. Then, hearing the NPR report while eating dinner made me incredibly sad. Hearing Elvis Costello's comments and all. I bring up David Bowie's recent comment to a reporter: "Don't worry, we'll all be dropping like flies soon enough". I guess we should just get used to it.
