The Living Rockumentary

I don't know if anyone noticed but I paid a small fee to get that advertisement banner removed from our Rockumentary. Hows about that?

Saw the movie Signs last night with Lesa, DB, and Phidip. I enjoyed the tenseness of it. The photography and the rhythm were nice, too. The theatre was full of clowns. Teenagers (gasp!) were getting phone calls, talking at normal conversational volumes, and even taking flash pictures of themselves. Someone mentioned hating going to the movies when there are teenagers there and I recalled hating it even when I was a teenager. Sheesh. Going to a movie means dramatically different things for different people.

So, yes enjoyable experience, the movie, just if you see it, don't go thinking to much about all the obvious secondary stories and tie-ins and politically timely overtones and all that nonsense that they seem to always throw in, ruining movies. Go into it pretending that you are not as smart as you are and you can have a nice time in the dark. The two kids are really cool.

Tea-Lights tonight at Harry's, I'm working the sound. It should be a nice night.
