The Living Rockumentary

Had a nice rehearsal for Neil Young & Crazy Horse in Philip's livingroom tonight. Dennis and Philip are pulling off some delicious harmonies, and I would say we sound pretty damn authentic. I could use a curly black wig though. Anyone? Dave and I were also asked to be in Ben Demerath's group tonight as Nelly Frutado. I had never really heard Nelly, and I think I like it. Very slick and produced but enjoyable. It will be tricky to pull off as a trio, especially sans all the blips and scratches and keyboard trickery. I guess that's the beauty of Transperformance. I still can't believe nobody picked Rush. Is every musician in town too cool to admit to liking Rush somewhere between 5th and 12th grade? (for the record, I pushed for it in SFH). C'mon - it's RUSH! Da-duh-da-da-da-duh-da-da-da-da-dudda... ("YYZ"). The Mobius Band would have been a good fit. Anyway, maybe I'll push for them again when Transperformance is Arena Rock. If that were the theme, who would SFTD be? My vote is for Queen.
