Somehow we managed to eat every meal outside on Saturday. I recommend it. It really makes you feel like you are on vacation even if you are not.
We rode our bikes over to see Step Brothers in Hadley, MA. You just get on the bike path in Northampton and keep going until you are sitting in the theatre with a box of popcorn.
Breakfast was outside at Panera. I know it's a chain and all but they have a good everything bagel and they are right next to the theater.
Lunch was at Eschellon on the way home from the movie.
Dinner was at Caminito in Northampton, MA. Argentinian food out on the patio.
That day also found us in Easthampton, MA twice. First to pay our respects to the lovely Night Owl Records, which closed this weekend. Second, to take in the always-a-hoot band, Treefort, at The Brass Cat. That Paul Hansbury sure can write 'em.
But before that we stopped in at Bishop's Lounge in Northampton to catch a set by F. Alex Johnson (a guest musician on our newest CD). Alex sure can write 'em.
Sunday, look, it's brunch with Jason Bourgeois and our very own Brian at The Green Bean in Northampton. Was this really followed by a trip to the Holyoke Mall with fashion-consultant Jason? Yes.
Later dinner with old friend Katie at the Brewmaster's Tavern in Williamsburg, MA
Man, I'm stuffed. It's good to be back though.
See folks? Sometimes, I have nothing to say. Is it better to write this kind of drivel or should I keep my typing fingers gloved until something of value might be expressed?

Thanks for coming to the show, both of you.
Looking forward to the new CD.
Love the drivel.
Gloved fingers are for leading ladies and traffic cops, and I'm pretty sure you're not either of those.
