Once I was walking along with some friends who were handing out fliers to their Hip Hop Open Mic. They would hand a piece of paper to people on the sidewalk and say "Hip Hop Open Mic", but it kept sounding to me like "Hop Up On My Bike".
Tonight at The Basement is Lord Russ' weekly acoustic Open Mic. However, Lord Russ will not be hosting his open mic tonight. Instead, Jose Ayerve will be doing it. It starts at 9:30 with a half hour set by Jose. Sign up starts at around 9:00.
At 11:30 the featured performer plays. The featured performer tonight is me.
You should come out and play and have some fun on a Wednesday night for a change.
