Counterpoint

I was in the northern Berkshires today, and the afternoon ride home on the Mohawk Trail (rt 2) from North Adams to Greenfield took 2 hours and I bore witness to a couple accidents and several cars sliding unpredictably around those hairpin turns. The tiny, ironically named town of Florida ('tween N.Adams and Charlemont) was experiencing white out conditions.
If my vehicle had curtains and a video screen, I'd have taken Ning's advice.

Instead, I got tense muscles, sore eyes...and now that I'm home, some ginger brandy to undo them (ginger brandy, incidentally, left over from the last day of my cold. It's a pretty good remedy once the end is in sight. If you're tee totaling, then drink some Kombucha Tea with ginger. Or do both. Like me. Love that kombucha.)
