Living Through Another Cuba

There's an interesting couple of weekend shows for those of you in the Western Massachusetts area. Jason Bourgeois, Brian, and I will be taking part in the Friday night show. We'll be doing probably four songs that we've rearranged so that they work with no guitars or basses. Why? Well, read on, friends.

"We here at HELPER have heard that it's awful hard to get to get guitar strings in Cuba. We've also noticed that it's pretty easy to get them around here. We did the math.

DOWNTOWN SOUNDS has graciously offered a reduced rate on all guitar strings bought by HELPER for this purpose.

Friday 1/18 and Saturday 1/19, 10 pm AT THE ELEVENS, $1 Donations of new acoustic, electric or bass strings gratefully accepted.

NO STRINGS: An evening of electronic, experimental, dance, pop and rock music all made without the use of guitars.
