This weekend The Fawns were a part of PopFest New England 2007. Though the event is put together by Skipping Stones Records from New Haven, it takes places in Northampton, MA at The Elevens. Bands from all over the country and the world come out for the weekend. It's always a strange scene. The audience and bands are SO enthusiastic and energetic, I felt like I was moving in slow motion, like a snail in a hummingbird patch. Like a curmudgeon in a smile factory.
Some of the bands were really great though. My favorites were "My Teenage Stride" and "Professor Pez".
