  1. Love Halloween.
  2. Have some big windows.
  3. Measure your windows. (Use the yardstick that's in the closet)
  4. Put "It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" or the Freaks and Geeks Halloween Episode on the TV.
  5. Spread the cardboard from the boxes on the floor.
  6. Measure out four (or however many) window-sized squares. Draw lines with a pencil and the yardstick.
  7. Cut out the squares.
  8. Test the squares by putting them in the windows. Do they fit well? Good.
  9. Now draw a scary face on the squares while they are leaning up on your windows.
  10. When you are happy with the face, cut it out.
  11. Put the squares back in the windows.
  12. Tape them if you have to.
  13. Close the curtains.
  14. Turn the lights on inside the house.
  15. Go outside and look. Yell, "Come here you have to see this!"
  16. Put on extra lights inside if you have to.
  17. Soak in the accolades from the trick or treaters.
  18. (Optional) Be surprised the next morning to see that the face shines inward during the day.
