While Max, Brian and Henning begin the recording of the new SFTD album today, I'm busy nursing my summer cold, housesitting at the in-laws' and also watching the kids on my own (baby Owen is currently content lying on the couch watching his sister Hannah dance in the livingroom to John Cougar Mellencamp's 1983 album "Uh-Huh") while the wife is treating herself to a day away from the kids (lunch at Qdoba plus a viewing of the latest Harry Potter flick). Anyway, I just finished lunch here myself (frozen mini-pancakes- guess who came up with that idea for lunch?) and while noshing, I read these facts about famous musicians you might or might not know:
Didja know that comedy singer/songwriter Tom Lehrer invented jello shots in the late 1950s?
IT'S TRUE!
Didja know that the first American citizen to be documented with a case of Asian flu was Smokey Robinson?
IT'S TRUE!
